Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Advanced Practice team at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Physician Assistant with expertise in neurosurgery to provide high-quality patient care and support our team of attending neurosurgeons. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage neurosurgical spine and brain patients on the floor and ICU setting.
  • Intake H&PEs, progress notes, consultations, pre- and post-operative care, and discharges.
  • Provide neurosurgical consultations in the hospital and in the Emergency Department.
  • First assist the attending neurosurgeon with any procedures, including emergency procedures.
  • Shifts include 6am-7:00pm or 6pm-7:00am, totaling 3 shifts per week.
