Position Overview
Our client, iMPact Business Group, a leader in the medical device manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated Materials Coordinator for a long-term contract opportunity.

Role Responsibilities
The Materials Coordinator will manage and oversee the organization’s warehouse operations, which include the processing, packaging, and storage of medical device products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the receipt, storage, and shipment of medical device inventory.
  • Coordinating schedules for the shipping and receiving of medical equipment through various shipping methods.
  • Ensuring the efficiency of operational procedures, optimizing space utilization, and maintaining the protection of facilities and equipment.
  • Assisting with inventory cycle counts across the designated territory.
  • Reviewing incoming equipment requests in the CRM and processing them in the ERP system.
  • Conducting inventory checks, replenishment, and inspections of incoming surgical sets for redistribution.
  • Executing ERP transactions for surgical set movements to ensure accurate planning and traceability of inventory.

Collaboration and Communication
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Field Operations, Field Inventory, Commercial Operations, Sales Representatives, and Sales Managers, is essential for optimizing the supply chain.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service abilities, with the capacity to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
  • A proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and the need for multitasking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Occasional ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Familiarity with the medical device industry and hospital customer base is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle JDE, WebOps, SAP, and Salesforce is advantageous.

Additional Information
On-call support may be required during nights and weekends as necessary.
