- Handle patient payments, verify insurance details, and secure necessary authorizations.
- Offer patients relevant information regarding their upcoming appointments during checkout.
- Address inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes.
- Proficiency in using standard office equipment and software.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform various physical tasks throughout the workday, including walking, standing, and reaching.
- Manual dexterity for typing and operating office machinery.
- Capability to lift and carry items up to specified weight limits.
