We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Project Engineering/Systems Design to lead our System Design and Project Engineering department. This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a M.S. Degree in Engineering or a closely related field and at least 10 years of experience in R&D of optical communication systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.

This position reports to the Senior Director of System Design and Product Management and leads a team of Engineers who prepare Technical Solutions in response to Customers' Requests. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising development of technical documentation in support of a new system bid.
  • Driving implementation of contracted projects.
  • Providing support required for the Sales and Project Management Organizations, such as presentations to customers on SubCom technology and products.
