Position Overview:
The Ladders is seeking a knowledgeable Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is essential in helping leadership gain insights into the overall financial status of our organization.
The Senior Financial Analyst will oversee the month-end closing process and ensure the delivery of precise financial reports to our management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the financial expert within the business unit.
- Complete month-end closing within a specified timeframe and deliver accurate financial statements.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage capital expenditure depreciation and amortization processes.
- Collaborate with management and operational teams to create accurate annual budgets and long-term financial projections.
- Develop and analyze financial reports for internal meetings.
- Onboard new vendors into the accounting system.
- Prepare and manage various financial reports as requested.
- Compile and submit necessary tax payments and exemption certificates.
- Conduct property tax assessments as required.
- Manage accruals for fixed-fee projects according to established procedures.
- Maintain the company asset list, including acquisitions and disposals.
- Record daily customer payments and manage accounts receivable.
- Prepare annual tax audit reports as needed.
- Assist with financial reporting and compliance tasks.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely payments.
- Support expense reporting and provide training to new users.
- Help management understand balance sheet and cash flow management.
- Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Conduct trend analysis and report findings to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- A minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience is essential.
- Proficiency in ERP systems is necessary.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Experience with various tax regulations is preferred.
