Job Title: Radiology/CT Technologist - PRN Night

At Premier ER & Urgent Care, we are seeking a skilled Radiology/CT Technologist to join our team on a PRN night shift basis. As a Radiology/CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures and produce diagnostic images to ensure patient care and safety.
  • Protect patients, self, and staff from radiation exposure by using ALARA and practicing sound procedures.
  • Obtain quality diagnostic images as requested by providers and maintain a low repeat rate.
  • Adjust equipment for proper radiographic exposure techniques and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Provide timely and adequate documentation and maintain patient X-Ray files in a confidential and secure manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness in diagnostic imaging rooms and stock necessary radiological supplies.
  • Work closely with providers to receive guidance and instruction for treating patients.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to ensure optimal patient care and promote a positive working environment.
Requirements:
  • Possess thorough knowledge of radiologic procedures, safety, and proper usage of equipment.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physics as applied to diagnostic imaging.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate well with patients, staff, and physicians.
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to hear and speak; frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to lift and move objects up to 25lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
