About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Painters Supply and Equipment Co. as a Specialty Coatings Sales and Service Professional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Order Processing: Process incoming orders, quotes, and purchase orders, preparing them for production and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Inside Sales Support: Assist our outside sales team with questions, pricing, updates, and tracking information to ensure seamless sales support.
  • Shipping and Logistics: Prepare shipping paperwork for domestic and international orders, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Warehouse Support: Perform occasional warehouse work to ensure effective delivery dates and maintain a well-organized warehouse environment.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with outside vendors to source materials for the department.
  • Quality and Service: Conduct self in a professional manner to ensure customers' quality and service expectations are met.
  • Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions using POS devices and company guidelines.
Additional Duties
  • Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste cans and product in compliance with company and governmental regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist staff with periodic or annual store inventories.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements

The majority of the time will be spent sitting, with occasional standing, walking, stooping, climbing, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Bilingual: Bilingual in both English and Spanish.
Training Requirements
  • Right-to-Know Training: Complete required courses, including Right-to-Know Training.
  • VOC Technical Reference Course: Complete recommended courses, including VOC Technical Reference Course.
  • DOT Regulation Training: Complete training on DOT regulations.
  • Hazardous Waste Training: Complete training on hazardous waste management.
  • Manufacturer Training: Attend manufacturer training seminars and/or training schools.
Other Requirements

Ability to work all scheduled hours as needed. If usage of employee's own vehicle is required for company business, employee must obtain appropriate insurance per company policy. Employee must be licensed and able to operate vehicle in accordance with state law, including commercial drivers license if required. Must have an acceptable driving record from the State Motor Vehicle Bureau.
