Position Summary:
Calibrate Property Management is in search of a skilled maintenance technician to oversee operations at Deer Valley Apartments.
- Manage, prioritize, and fulfill maintenance requests efficiently.
- Procure necessary maintenance materials, supplies, and components.
- Ensure timely completion of unit turnovers.
- Supervise maintenance staff, including technicians, housekeepers, and groundskeepers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance to team members.
- Implement and uphold the preventative maintenance program.
- Guarantee that all service requests are addressed promptly, with appropriate notifications left for residents.
- Compile reports as required by management.
- Inform the business manager of any required supplies or parts for service requests.
Regularly conduct inspections of grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and major equipment.
Emergency Maintenance:Provide backup support for on-call personnel and ensure an alternative technician is designated.
Safety and Compliance:Lead monthly safety meetings with staff, maintain storage and maintenance areas according to company standards, and safeguard all company tools and equipment. Ensure compliance with state and national electrical maintenance codes.
Qualifications:To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform all essential functions effectively. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
Education:High school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver's license is necessary if operating a licensed vehicle is part of the job duties.

Mental and Physical Demands:This supervisory role requires the ability to focus on intricate details with moderate interruptions. Candidates should be capable of sitting, standing, walking, extending arms and hands, and occasionally bending or stooping. The ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds is necessary.
Working Conditions:The position is typically in an office environment with controlled temperatures and both natural and artificial lighting. Outdoor tasks may involve exposure to seasonal weather conditions.
