Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the care provided by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Technicians, including orienting new staff and students, and stepping in as supervisor when necessary.
  • Evaluate patient needs, determine suitable physical therapy interventions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to uphold professional standards.
  • Monitor and assess treatment effectiveness, ensuring the achievement of both short-term and long-term rehabilitation goals, and suggest adjustments to the physician as required.
  • Conduct thorough assessments for each patient and perform regular reassessments in accordance with established protocols, ensuring timely quality improvement evaluations.
  • Identify and address patient pain that may hinder optimal rehabilitation participation, implementing appropriate interventions and coordinating with physicians as needed.
  • Develop and revise individualized care plans for physical therapy.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
    • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state.
    • Preferred experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
