We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Unit Coordinator to join our Emergency Department team at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. As a member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with providing patient care in accordance with established standards and practices.
- Support patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and caring manner.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide administrative support in patient care areas.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a nursing assistant course and prior experience in an acute care setting beneficial.
- Prior listing on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry required.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
