Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at The Glass Guru of Olathe. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in the home as part of our final fulfillment process.

• Inspect job materials to ensure accuracy and quality
• Load and transport required materials to installation sites
• Communicate with customers and office staff regarding installation schedules and updates
• Install products and services according to work orders, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems on-site
• Manage customer expectations, ensure a clean and safe work environment, and provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate with team members to resolve incomplete work, order necessary materials, and manage customer expectations

• 3-5 years of carpentry experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, clean DMV record, and ability to pass background check and drug test
• Physical ability to lift up to 50-100lbs, unassisted

• Trim carpentry experience, including operation of table saw and chop saw
• Residential window and door installation experience, including new construction and retrofit
• Effective troubleshooting skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly in Word and Excel
• Hardworking, motivated, and organized individual with excellent time-management skills
