Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Neuro-Ophthalmology Specialist to join our team at St. Luke's University Health Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our neuro-ophthalmology services.

Estimated Salary Range: $400,000 - $600,000 per yearJob Description:

The Senior Neuro-Ophthalmology Specialist will be responsible for performing comprehensive evaluations and treatments for patients with neurological disorders affecting the eye. This includes conducting thorough medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as necessary. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

In addition to direct patient care, you will also participate in educational activities such as teaching residents and medical students, attending conferences and seminars, and publishing research articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Board certification in ophthalmology and fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology
  • Demonstrated expertise in evaluating and treating complex neurological disorders affecting the eye
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
