About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter and Operations Specialist to join our team at J. Crawford. In this role, you will be responsible for leading carpentry teams on-site, managing project execution, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage carpentry teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.
  • Work closely with customers, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and sub-contractors.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in carpentry, with a focus on leadership and operations management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
  • A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Prior experience working with sub-contractors and managing vendor relationships.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, J. Crawford offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
