Job Title: Guardian of Learning

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Guardian of Learning. This role involves working closely with students, staff, and administrators to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

About the Role: As a Guardian of Learning, you will be responsible for providing security and support services to students, staff, and visitors on school premises. You will work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to ensure a positive and secure school climate.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security and Safety: Assist in maintaining a safe and secure school environment by responding to incidents, monitoring CCTV cameras, and conducting regular patrols.
2. Student Support: Provide assistance to students with special needs, such as escorting them to classes or activities, and offering emotional support when needed.
3. Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure a smooth flow of information and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

• Credentials: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience: Three years of experience as a sworn law enforcement officer or corrections officer within the last ten years, or two years of prior military experience with an honorable discharge.
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license and concealed weapons permit (for Florida residents).
• Age: Must be at least 21 years old.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
