Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Signal Processing Engineer to join our team in Arlington, VA or San Diego, CA. As a key member of our Electronic Warfare (EW) program, you will play a critical role in developing and improving the robustness and efficacy of sensors and signals in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, model, and test algorithms in Matlab, Simulink, or C++ to enhance sensor and signal performance
  • Analyze results from simulation or real data to identify root causes and trends, and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with scientists and experts to advance the state of the art in research and advanced applications
  • Participate in testing and other technical assignments to ensure the success of our EW programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • 2+ years' experience in signal processing, radar systems, or related field
  • Active SECRET clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Experience with tools such as MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink, and languages such as C/C++, Java
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to work in a team environment and independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience working in areas of modeling and simulation, radar, adaptive radar, signals processing, algorithm development, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), or similar fields
