Job Summary

We are currently looking for a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to work in our rehabilitation therapy department. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting licensed physical therapists in the delivery of patient care, implementing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed physical therapists in evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, medical histories, and treatment goals.
  • Implement appropriate exercises, modalities, and interventions to promote patient recovery and progress towards treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Requirements
  • Certificate or degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Washington.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working as a PTA in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $55,000 and $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting of patients. The successful candidate must also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
