About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Geisinger. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care in the operating room in support of surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures under the general supervision of an anesthesiologist.
Responsibilities
- Anesthetize patients using various techniques and medications
- Select and administer drugs for anesthesia and emergency treatment
- Maintain patient safety by monitoring vital signs and adjusting medications as needed
- Treat variants of anesthesia and communicate with the surgical team
- Assess patient status and interpret hemodynamic waveforms and equipment status
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania)
- Licensed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
