About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at SilganCareers. As a key member of our manufacturing operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in molding machines, conveyance equipment, robots, and auxiliary equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and components
  • Consult OEM manuals to identify proper procedures, parts identification, and preventative maintenance
  • Adjust, set up, and calibrate equipment as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout and tagout
  • Read, use, and interpret measuring devices, gauges, and inspection tools
  • Input maintenance work orders and follow SOPs for documentation
  • Restore operating systems of common controls architecture
Requirements
  • Technical degree or equivalent technical experience (3-5 years) in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Good mathematical and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good personal leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and Microsoft Outlook
