Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Ascension Saint Thomas Westlawn Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate
- Is a licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition;
- Has at least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting;
- Has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and promoting positive patient outcomes;
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and populations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions;
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and test results;
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care and promote continuity of treatment;
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support high-quality patient care.
