Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and apply local and corporate environmental regulations and procedures.
  • Adhere strictly to established protocols and promptly report any incidents or unsafe conditions.
  • Gather and evaluate environmental data to assess compliance and performance.
  • Conduct site evaluations to analyze the environmental impact of various activities.
  • Examine human activities and their effects on the environment.
  • Enhance conservation strategies, focusing on recycling and the management of water and air quality.
  • Coordinate efforts to resolve compliance-related issues.
  • Provide technical assistance as required.
  • Oversee sustainability initiatives and related reporting.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering, particularly in compliance and reporting.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with a proven ability to analyze and enhance business processes.
  • Proven track record in managing significant projects aimed at improving environmental outcomes.
  • Familiarity with Title V permits, NSR permits, PBRs, and standard air permits, as well as SPCC plans and SWPPP permits.
  • Experience with sustainability reporting and ISO 14001 management systems is preferred.
