Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring favorable patient outcomes through the skilled and compassionate application of nursing expertise. This role operates under general supervision and fosters professional nursing practices by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and conditions to provide nursing care in the designated unit, ensuring that each patient receives the necessary and appropriate care.
  • Evaluate patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current health status, to formulate personalized nursing care plans.
  • Administer nursing processes, such as medication delivery and treatments, to offer comprehensive and effective patient care.
  • Ensure the accuracy of medical records to comply with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Monitor patient responses to interventions and identify any additional actions required to achieve established care goals.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to facilitate effective care planning.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse

Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as recognized by ANCC or national nursing organizations

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required:
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS (CPR) - American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
