About Our Firm: Our reputable law firm is dedicated to Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice cases. With a team of experienced attorneys and committed support personnel, we pride ourselves on our pursuit of justice for our clients. As a paralegal, you will collaborate closely with attorneys, including direct interaction with senior management.
Position Title: Medical Malpractice Paralegal
Compensation: $65,000 - $90,000 annually, inclusive of personal insurance and potential year-end bonuses
Work Arrangement: Hybrid option available (Remote 3 days per week)
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Partner of the firm
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pre-litigation and litigation processes for various medical malpractice and personal injury cases.
- Draft and submit legal documents, especially for Federal court proceedings.
- Manage a diverse caseload and assist attorneys in trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research, maintain comprehensive case files, and communicate with clients.
- Adapt to the changing landscape of Federal practice in Florida.
- Work in conjunction with office staff to facilitate all aspects of case management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Significant experience in Civil and Federal legal practices.
- Proficient in LEAP legal software or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in insurance defense firms is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with both Plaintiff and Defense cases is advantageous.
