Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical and diagnostic procedures in Ultrasound as assigned. This includes day-to-day operations of the ultrasound department, including ultrasound operations at the Breast Center. The ideal candidate will participate in process improvement projects, ensure policies and standard protocols are followed, and provide instruction to students and other staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various technical and diagnostic procedures in Ultrasound as assigned.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects to enhance patient satisfaction and quality care.
  • Maintain adherence to policies, standard protocols, and procedures.
  • Participate in the instruction of students and other staff.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess an Associate's degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent specialty. Additionally, they should have passed the ARDMS board exam and hold certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in ultrasound or advanced certification in Ultrasound by ARDMS or equivalent. A minimum of one year experience in general ultrasound and vascular procedures is preferred.

Salary and Benefits:
