Medical Screener

About the Role:
As a Medical Screener at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors. Your primary responsibility will be to screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results. You will also be responsible for answering phones, greeting donors, and maintaining accurate records. Your attention to detail and commitment to customer service will make a significant impact on our donors' experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen donors for eligibility and take vital signs
• Record finger stick results and maintain accurate records
• Answer phones and greet donors
• Coordinate donor compensation and maintain accurate records
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes using company-approved procedures
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
• Prolonged glove wear required due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1)
