Job Title: Service Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Gallery Residential. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing technical and mechanical work to ensure the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet our standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and installations of various systems and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action to prevent damage or safety hazards.
  • Respond to resident requests for service in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials up to 50 pounds independently and 150 pounds with assistance.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues, and vendors.

Work Environment:

The Service Technician will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to outside elements, including temperature, weather, odors, and landscape. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality service delivery.

Physical Demands:

The Service Technician will be required to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, and squat regularly, with frequent use of hands to finger, type, handle, or feel objects. The position also requires the ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 50 pounds independently and 150 pounds with assistance.
