Position Overview

The Physician delivers comprehensive patient care within the specialized field of heart failure and transplantation.

Adheres to established National Patient Safety Goals relevant to the level of patient interaction required for this role. INTEGRIS Health is committed to equal opportunity and affirmative action in employment practices.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Physician encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Conducts thorough evaluations and manages each patient with precision, ensuring complete documentation through written notes or dictation in a timely manner.
  • Accurately identifies pertinent medical issues and employs suitable procedures and diagnostic testing.
  • Maintains and updates problem lists, medication lists, disease management documentation, preventative maintenance flow sheets, and other essential medical records.
  • Engages in quality improvement initiatives and medical management strategies as directed by the Medical Operating Committee.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to team members to ensure an efficient and cohesive working environment.
  • Ensures the financial sustainability of the practice.
  • Adheres to relevant policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Assumes responsibility for patient care.
This position may entail additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit test requirements. There is a moderate risk of exposure to hazardous conditions, including potential exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood and bodily fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. There is also a risk of bodily injury related to lifting and incidents of workplace violence. Compliance with universal safety precautions is mandatory. The role may involve frequent interruptions, exposure to noise, unpleasant odors, and various chemicals.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an Oklahoma MD or DO license is required.
