Community Reinvestment Act Compliance Specialist

Job Description:
The CRA Officer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) requirements. This includes developing and implementing effective CRA policies and procedures, providing training and advisory services to areas of the bank, and managing relationships with business units to ensure collaboration in developing and monitoring performance goals that meet the bank's CRA objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CRA compliance, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective CRA policies and procedures.
- Provide training and advisory services to areas of the bank on CRA compliance.
- Manage relationships with business units to ensure collaboration in developing and monitoring performance goals that meet the bank's CRA objectives.
- Prepare and present semi-annual reviews and self-assessments of CRA activity to the Board CRA Committee.
- Assist in preparation for and management of CRA examinations and internal audits.
Requirements:
- Five or more years of demonstrated strong CRA performance experience.
- Seven or more years of related financial institution or regulatory experience.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of banking laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and bank proprietary software.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year based on location and experience.
