Occupational Therapist PRN

The Occupational Therapist PRN provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of occupational therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients, in coordination with the physician and the patient care team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics.
- Assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status.
- Participate in patient placement and in the development of the total plan of care.
- Provide purposeful and skilled interaction care.
- Use procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physicians plan of care.
- Observe and report patients reaction to treatment and changes in patients condition.
- Communicate pertinent payor needs/requirements to physician, treatment team, patient and patients family in a timely manner.
- Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs and coordinate assignments/handoffs.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Occupational Therapist in the state of Georgia.
