Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing technologies and platforms to support our corporate network, server, application, and voice infrastructure. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement technologies and platforms to support corporate network, server, application, and voice infrastructure
  • Assist with ensuring high availability of infrastructure systems that support internal employee functions and external customer contact
  • Cooperate with IT leadership, executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals
  • Deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems
  • Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed systems to aid management in decision-making
  • Interact with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services
  • Conduct server and security audits, system backup procedures, company disaster recoveries, and other strategies
  • Maintain documentation relevant to system configuration, standard processes, and service records
  • Complete in-depth tests and end-user reviews for modified and new systems
  • Monitor/test system performance and assist with training to end users for all systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering or equivalent education/work experience preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (with bulk being infrastructure related) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience troubleshooting hardware and software preferred
  • Proven experience with systems planning, implementation, security principles, and general software management best practices preferred
  • Previous technical knowledge of standard networking concepts (Meraki, Cisco, VOIP, etc.), core software applications (VMWare, Windows Server, Linux, SQL, Exchange, Solarwinds or similar monitoring software), and standard ITIL processes preferred
