Health and Safety Considerations

As part of your duties, you may encounter:

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing assistance with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supporting patients with feeding and mobility
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including changing bed linens
  • Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to the supervising nurse or therapist
  • Facilitating patient transfers and ambulation
  • Collecting necessary specimens for medical assessments
  • Delivering emotional support and companionship to enhance the patient's well-being
Care Plan Adherence

As a Home Health Aide, you will follow a specific care plan developed by the supervising nurse or therapist, ensuring that all services provided align with the physician's orders. It is essential to maintain open communication regarding any changes in the patient's condition.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must maintain current CPR certification and adhere to all required standards for providing direct care.
