- Plan and Execute Lifting Operations: Plan and execute lifting operations to ensure safe and efficient movement of loads, taking into account factors such as weight, size, and environmental conditions.
- Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Experience: Proven experience working with overhead cranes and forklifts in a variety of settings.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid licenses and certifications as required by federal, state, and local laws.
- Physical Demands: Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee will frequently work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. The employee must be able to lift 50 pounds or more on a consistent basis.
Training and Development- New Hire Familiarization Checklist (MCA-001): Complete a comprehensive new hire familiarization checklist to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
- Crane Operator Training: Participate in regular crane operator training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
