We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at The Auberge at Lake Zurich. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strong activity program that promotes socialization, engagement, and overall well-being for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and supervise daily social, educational, recreational, spiritual, therapeutic, individual, and group activities for residents.
  • Assist with group activities, entertainment, and transportation services for residents.
  • Encourage and promote resident participation in activities through effective communication and outreach.
  • Collaborate with the Lifestyle Director to develop and coordinate seminars, lectures, and other programs for residents, families, and friends.
  • Participate in local activity planners association and exchange ideas with Lifestyle Directors in affiliated retirement communities.
  • Assist with development of programs, activities, seminars, and lectures for the monthly calendar.
  • Represent the community by giving tours and marketing the community as needed.
Requirements:
  • Current state-specific driver's license and appropriate driving record.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Compassion for elderly.
  • Self-motivation.
