Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at CJW Medical Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively, including screening patients for contraindications
- Demonstrate expertise in performing all necessary computer operations related to MRI scanning
- Prepare MRI scanners for use and perform quality control tests to ensure optimal performance
- Understand and operate electronic information systems to maintain accurate patient records
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and free from hazards
Education and Qualifications
A graduate degree in Radiological Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasonography is required. Additionally, you must hold current certifications as an ARRT (R) Registered Technologist and ARRT (MR) Registered Technologist. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is also required.
