Role Overview:
The Aseptic Cleaning Specialist is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness of highly regulated environments. This role demands proficiency in working with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and experience within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the preparation of cleaning agents.
- Conducting routine cleaning and return-to-service sanitation of cleanroom facilities.
- Recording cleaning activities in designated logbooks.
This position requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to interpret and follow SOPs, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Under the guidance of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the cleaning team will manage the scheduling of cleaning tasks and collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with established procedures.
Essential Skills:
- Environmental monitoring expertise.
- Proficient in aseptic techniques.
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Minimum of one year of experience in a cleanroom environment.
Desired Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to comply with SOPs.
- Commitment to safety standards.
- Effective coordination and scheduling skills.
Work Environment:
- Work will be conducted in a highly regulated cleanroom setting.
- Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM (with a half-hour lunch break). Training will occur during the same hours.
- This role requires wearing full aseptic gowns for extended periods and may involve using mop extenders to reach elevated areas. PPE provided includes hair nets, safety goggles, gloves, jumpsuits, booties, and tapes.
