Job Title: RN Telemetry

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Telemetry setting. As a RN Telemetry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a 36-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Telemetry unit and possess strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in a Telemetry setting
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and other vital signs
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • ACLS and BLS certification
  • NIHSS certification
  • 2+ years of experience in a Telemetry setting
Work Environment:

This position will be working in a MedSurg/Tele unit with a 1:4 patient-to-nurse ratio. The unit is equipped with the latest technology, including Cerner EMR. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Benefits:

This contract opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package. The hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract, and each cancellation could be a full shift or any part of a shift.
