Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Non-Destructive Excavation Technician to join our team at EPS Group. This role involves safely operating hydrovac trucks and equipment to excavate and expose underground utilities without causing damage to surrounding infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate hydrovac trucks and equipment to excavate and expose underground utilities.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the hydrovac truck and equipment.
  • Mobilize and demobilize equipment to and from job sites.
  • Interpret utility locate markings and understand excavation requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating Hydrovac equipment.
  • Understanding of underground utility locating and marking practices.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Compensation Package:$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
