We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automated Screw Machine Specialist to join our team at Nesco Resource. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Acme Gridley Screw Machines to produce high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and Operation: Set up and operate Acme Gridley Screw Machines to produce parts according to print specifications.
- Tooling and Maintenance: Install and maintain tooling, including collets, pushers, gears, cams, and other attachments, to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Quality Control: Inspect parts to ensure conformance to print specifications and make adjustments as needed.
- Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in setting up and operating Acme Gridley Screw Machines.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of tooling and attachments, including dovetail forms, floating shave, knee tools, knurling, tapping, thread rolling, accelerated reaming, and recess and pick off attachments.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs independently and stand for up to 10-hour shifts.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Competitive Pay: Starting pay is $20-$26/hr based on experience.
