Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled Electrical/Electronic Engineers to join our Electronic Systems Department at Penn State University. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that develop innovative engineering and technology solutions for challenging national problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop system architectures and perform functional allocations
  • Design and analyze electrical circuits
  • Develop software/firmware for embedded hardware functions
  • Contribute design effort estimations to proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Collaborate with team members and nurture relationships with customers and vendors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Science-based discipline plus 2 years' related experience for the intermediate professional level
  • Advanced degree or PHD in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $86,300 - $191,000 per year, depending on education and experience.
