About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at ASM Global. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized concession stand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up concession stand with condiments, napkins, utensils, and other necessary items prior to opening
  • Take customer orders and communicate them to the kitchen staff
  • Operate cash register, including punching in orders, handling cash and credit transactions, and providing change to customers
  • Organize and serve customers with food in a timely manner
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Clean and maintain concession stand and surrounding areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20-50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks

Working Conditions

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels
  • Regularly required to move around the facility, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks
  • May be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
