About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Atwater Brewery, located in the heart of the Detroit Metro Airport. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a wide variety of craft cocktails, beer, and wine, and maintaining a clean and sanitized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and acknowledge guests, taking drink and food orders and providing information about menu items.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a lasting first and last impression.
  • Check identification of guests to verify they are of legal drinking age.
  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of craft cocktails, beer, and wine, and food, with a thorough knowledge of menu offerings.
  • Accurately process transactions through the point-of-sale system, ensuring cash, credit, and debit transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Respond appropriately to customer concerns and follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication.
  • Ensure a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar area, including the operation and maintenance of the glass washer and sanitizer.
  • Perform opening and closing side work, as directed.
