About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Land Survey Technician to join our team at Widseth. As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for working on a variety of residential and commercial projects, including boundary surveys, topographic and ALTA surveys, easement and flood insurance surveys, and commercial construction staking.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Using Civil 3D to produce CAD documents and assist Professional Surveyors with deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal descriptions, and computing survey boundaries.
  • Preparing topographic and contour maps of land surveyed, including site features and other relevant information, and completing survey notes in a timely manner.
  • Interacting with clients and/or contractors, requiring strong teamwork and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a technician in the office.
  • Associates degree in Land Surveying or Civil Technology.
  • Knowledge of survey equipment such as GPS, Total Station, and data collector.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Valid driver's license.
