Requirements and Qualifications:
- Punctuality and adherence to uniform standards
- Warmly greets guests and acknowledges everyone within close proximity with a smile
- Delivers the highest level of service by following all service standards
- Adheres to the defined steps of service as outlined in training materials
- Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, in line with company policies and state regulations
- Collaborates with fellow team members to meet guest needs promptly
- Maintains thorough knowledge of the bar and menu to address guest inquiries, including food allergy concerns
- Ensures proper food handling and cleanliness of work areas
- Engages with guests to create loyal patrons
- Keeps bar work areas organized and tidy, including bar tops and surrounding areas
- Immediately informs management of any potential guest, team member, or operational issues
Safety and Sanitation:
- Washes hands every 30 minutes during the shift
- Ensures responsible serving of food and alcohol in accordance with company and state standards
- Maintains clean and sanitized work areas
- Works with team members to uphold safety and sanitation protocols
Teamwork, Skills, and Education:
- Supports other front-of-house roles as needed, fostering a shared responsibility for the restaurant's success
- Communicates positively with team members and management to keep everyone informed
- Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Competence in handling cash and working with numbers
- Basic reading and writing skills, with the ability to operate the restaurant's point-of-sale system
- Must be at least 18 years old, unless otherwise dictated by state law
- Prepares team members for success during shift changes by ensuring side work and stations are adequately stocked
Physical Requirements:
The role of Bartender requires the ability to perform job functions with reasonable accommodation. Physical demands include:
- Standing for extended periods
