Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Structure Specialist to join our team at Advanced Innovative Solutions in Destin, Florida.

About the Job:

  • Perform thorough inspections of aircraft structures according to maintenance manuals and regulatory standards.
  • Execute repairs and modifications on aircraft structural components using approved techniques and materials.
  • Assemble and install structural components and systems on aircraft, ensuring precision and adherence to engineering drawings.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and modifications performed, complying with regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines during all tasks and operations.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality aircraft maintenance.
  • Performs work of the level described herein, interprets complex blueprints, and uses arithmetic involving decimals and fractions.
  • Utilizes computer-based systems to perform duties.
  • May be required to work in a confined space.
  • Fabricates detail parts from blueprint or engineering instructions.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance (required)
  • A&P license (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience on military aircraft or 4 years of experience with civilian aircraft
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft structures and relative tasks
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • US citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.
  • Willingsness to travel as required and work any shift or schedule.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
