Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Transportation Aide to join our team at Florida Presbyterian Homes. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our residents to various off-site activities and trips.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport residents to/from off-site activities and trips, serving as a tour guide/driver and chaperone as needed.
  • Provide facility pick up and delivery services as required.
  • Run business errands for the facility as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of DNR orders for residents being transported.
  • Strive to achieve high levels of resident, employee, and internal/external customer satisfaction.
  • Promote the Homes' mission and vision, contributing to a positive public relations program.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Florida Commercial Drivers License (CDL) class C with passenger endorsement and a clean driving record.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Minimum three years of driving experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Calendar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
