Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Technician to join our team at American Operations Corporation. As an Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with daily aircraft Electro-Environmental operations, troubleshooting malfunctions in aircraft electrical systems, and repairing, replacing, and rebuilding aircraft electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with daily aircraft Electro-Environmental operations
* Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft electrical systems
* Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft electrical systems
* Assist with performing periodic and other hourly or calendar inspections
* Assist in adjusting, replacing, and repairing worn or damaged electrical components, test equipment, and aircraft accessories
* Receive technical guidance from Managers, Supervisors, Leads, or higher-level technicians as required

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2 years performing as a USAF or sister service fighter aircraft Electro-Environmental System technician
* Working knowledge of MIS systems, forms documentation, and strict adherence to aircraft technical data
* Ability to pass a color vision test
* High school diploma or GED required
* Mathematics skills desirable
* Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language
* Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements
* Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms)
* Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash
* Performs any other supportive duties as assigned
* Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required)
* Must be able to, if required, obtain and maintain a government driver's license

Work Environment:

* Environment ranges from office, hangar, and flightline and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands
* May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract
