Role Overview:

The CNC Machinist position entails overseeing substantial production volumes across various machines while ensuring meticulous attention to detail. The Weekend Night Shift offers a 35% shift premium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage extensive production runs with accuracy
  • Advise supervisors and the programming team on technological innovations to improve operational efficiency
  • Operate machinery to facilitate part production runs
  • Maintain quality standards by understanding the Quality Management System
  • Document operational challenges and performance issues, providing constructive feedback to supervisors
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships with team members and management
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory; additional CNC training is advantageous
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machine operation is required
  • Strong knowledge of G & M codes and ability to interpret machining programs
  • Proficient in blueprint reading
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage complex situations
  • Able to succeed in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
