Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Biotechnology Instructor to join our team at Shoreline Community College. As a Biotechnology Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching college-level courses to transfer and professional-technical students in the Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach college-level courses in Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biomanufacturing, or related field
  • At least 18 months of experience in the Biotechnology/Biomanufacturing industry
  • Experience teaching in a higher education environment or industry training environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biomanufacturing, or related field
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation
  • Experience with teaching and developing coursework online
Working Conditions

The College is currently in mixed (both in-person and online instruction) operations, with the option for some assignments to be completed in a fully online environment based on program or area needs.
