KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Butcher Specialist tasks:
  • Evaluates meat products for quality and freshness
  • Organizes merchandise within the department
  • Utilizes meat processing equipment such as slicers, grinders, and saws
  • Employs various cutting tools
  • Operates in a controlled environment at approximately 34°F
Additional duties:
  • Ascends ladders or stair towers to access inventory
  • Prepares products for packaging
  • Unloads pallets
  • Receives and checks incoming shipments
  • Provides assistance to customers
  • Maintains stock levels and ensures product rotation
  • Handles incoming calls
Essential Qualifications: A friendly customer service demeanor, strong memory retention, exceptional hand-eye coordination, reliability, ability to adhere to instructions, and a keen eagerness to learn.

Work Environment: Regular exposure to varying weather conditions and temperature fluctuations. Time spent in cooler and freezer environments is limited to one hour at a time. Typical backroom temperature is maintained at 34°F.
