Construction Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership.

The selected candidate will be responsible for allocating resources, negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers, and maintaining high standards of workmanship. Additionally, they will lead dynamic meetings, dedicate time to training and mentoring, and oversee a team of project engineers conducting tasks such as bid solicitation, takeoff, and punchlist preparation.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a positive attitude. They will be a key member of our team, contributing to the growth and success of Koester Construction.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of construction engineering experience
• Experience in management, coaching, training, with strong leadership skills
• Expert understanding of construction means, methods, and techniques
• Experience with a variety of construction management software platforms
• Expert understanding of project budgets and managing job costs effectively
• Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with the entire project team

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
