Job Summary:
As a skilled HVAC Mechanic at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment. This includes:
- Performing installation, repair, and maintenance of lighting, power circuits, and electrical controls of machines and component parts of machine tools and plant equipment.
- Completing facilities construction and repair projects, including planning, layout, installation, building, testing, and repair of complex types of electrical, mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems, including circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
